More and more people are having weddings at home to help offset the overall cost. Moving the wedding from a traditional event Hall to a home can be anywhere from $2000-$20,000 and more cost-effective depending on the location of course. A second added bonus of course is being in the comfort of your own home or the home of a family member.

A great place to start is finding a great coordinator like Rosane Azettat from “We help you host”. Rosane is pretty much a one-stop shop with her personally trained staff ranging from Chefs, Bartenders, waitstaff, and all-around helpers. Rosane’s hands reach out far by supplying DJs, bands, photographers, cakes as well as entertainment.

“Creating intimacy in your home wedding with all the little details that are you”

The bride’s sisters Ranch style home created a wonderful setting!

At-home weddings seem to run at a much more relaxed pace. On the day of the event, things can always be moved up if everybody is ready and they can also be pushed back if they’re running a little behind schedule. The wedding planner will usually do the overall timeline schedule with the bride and groom. On the day, most of the scheduling up until the ceremony will run along your photographer’s timeline, so it is always best to speak with your photographer first and then combine that with the overall wedding day schedule. It is also best to check with the photographer before making hair makeup appointments to allow enough time so you are not rushed. As a photographer, I don’t want the wedding day to be all about photography so I try to always make it fun for everybody participating.
