THE FAMILY EXPERIENCE
1. CLOTHING AND STYLE CONSULTATION
In person appointments are always a great way to meet and helps the everyone get comfortable, this can also be done via Zoom. Evan will get to know you, start to design your session, and help find the right wardrobe for your shoot. This is also the time to talk about our products, from prints to albums and heirloom styled works of art, we will create the perfect collection for you.
2. PREPARING FOR YOUR SHOOT
Generally your family will arrive in the clothing they will be wearing for the session. If you are changing at the location, arrive in a comfy travel outfit and bring your outfits on hangers and/or rolling travel bag. We want you to look and feel your best, so a professional makeup application is recommended.
3. PHOTO SHOOT
Your photo shoot will be approx. 2 hours depending on travel time and whether we are in the studio or on location. Evan will never compromise on your photo day, so if rain, strong winds or excessive heat in the forecast we will reschedule to another day that works for you.
4. YOUR ORDERING APPOINTMENT
Your ordering appointment will last between 60 to 90 minutes, we want to make sure you do not feel rushed. We will work with you to help create the perfect displays for your images, and the finest products for your home.

Laughter comes with anticipation and the excitement of your Family Portrait session. Together, we will go on an adventure to create images having fun. The great thing about a Family Portrait Session is, it’s all about having fun and we will create many different looks throughout your session.
Clothing is an essential part of your Family Portraits that will help in creating a certain mood or look that we are going for. Planning this in advance and not waiting until the last minute will be invaluable. Throwing something together at the last minute never seems to work out well.
In 1944 Harold Samuel said location, location, location! This really was a reference to real estate but it totally applies and is appropriate for your Family Portraits. Knowing the location, weather, and elements prior to getting there will aid us in creating timeless portraits while not stressing about the location and conditions.

Studio portraits can be a great choice when you want to control the environment and not have to deal with weather conditions.
Outdoor Portraiture
We live in Southern California! Outdoor portraits give us so many wonderful backgrounds to choose from.
We first acquired Evan’s services for my girls’ portfolio’s. He did excellent headshots and “on location” shots and really advanced my daughters’ careers in the Entertainment Industry as commercial and series actresses and dancers. Very versatile.
Being that he was so talented and amazing to work with he was very capable of capturing all the huge moments of our lives. Evan’s professionalism and eye is truly impeccable.
Evan has encapsulated graduations, weddings, pregnancy pictures, my mother’s funeral, and I am truly grateful in acquiring his services for moments that are forever etched in a beautiful photograph. He tells a story in still pictures.
